Rena's passion for understanding the labor, birth and postpartum process brings knowledge, as well as, compassion to clients and students. Rená enjoys working with families, students, colleagues and the medical staff at local facilities by sharing evidenced based information, so they feel confident in their choices.

She considers it an honor to support families in their homes, at a birth center or in a hospital by helping them bring harmony through education and support.

Trained in a variety of techniques, she holds CAPPA Certifications as a Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Lactation Educator and Labor Doula Trainer.  Also a published author and speaker, priding herself on being an excellent resource and support for the community.

She has been offering certified Doula trainings, Birth and Postpartum Doula services, Educational classes to families and professionals for over 20 years in Southern California.

​

In 2017 Rená chose to align herself with a local hospital as part of their leadership team.  Her efforts are spent building bring the community and the hospital together to increase their patient satisfaction, decrease their c-section rates and implement new programs that benefit the patient and care providers.  We have successfully maintain a c-section rate below industry standards, increased delivery rates and implemented a Doula & Midwifery program.
