Rena's passion for understanding the labor, birth and postpartum process brings knowledge, as well as, compassion to clients and students. Rená enjoys working with families, students, colleagues and the medical staff at local facilities by sharing evidenced based information, so they feel confident in their choices.

She considers it an honor to support families in their homes, at a birth center or in a hospital by helping them bring harmony through education and support.

Trained in a variety of techniques, she holds Certifications as a Professional Birth Doula, Professional Postpartum Doula, Professional Childbirth Educator, Professional Lactation Educator and a Professional Birth Doula Trainer.  Also a published author and speaker, priding herself on being an excellent resource and support for the community.

She has been offering certified Birth Doula trainings, Birth and Postpartum Doula support, Educational classes to families and professionals for over 20 years in Southern California.

In 2017 Rená chose to align herself with a local hospital as part of their leadership team.  Her efforts are spent building bridges in the community and with the hospital to increase their patient satisfaction, decrease their c-section rates and implement new programs that benefit the patient and care providers.  We have successfully maintain a c-section rate below industry standards and requirements of CMQCC for over 7 years, increased delivery rates and implemented a Doula & Midwifery program.
