Doula Training FAQs
Rená has trained Doulas for over 18 years. Attending a full training ensures that you will receive a quality professional training and continued support with mentorship. Allowing you to gain confidence as you support YOUR clients.
Certification
This training is the first step to becoming a Certified Professional Birth Doula. After training you will receive a certificate of completion, then you will pay your membership and certification fees to Perinatal Professionals Association (PPA) and complete the additional steps to earn your certification.
Yes, you can begin supporting clients immediately after the training as you work toward certification.
This training meets the requirements allowing you to start billing insurance companies once you are a provider and if you decide to do that, those companies may include; Carrot, Kaiser, Medi-cal and more to come.

Support and Mentorship
Securing clients is up to you, during the training pathways to being a successful Doula are shared. Potential client opportunities are shared with students and networking opportunities are available to you.
Rená keeps her trainings to a reasonable size so each student feels as though the trainings are tailored to their desired learning style.
Within the PPA network you have the option to expand what you offer to your clients, continue your education and go on to be a Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, New Parent Educator and more. Your success is limitless!
